Relief at the pump could be coming soon

Some good news on the WNWO Pump Patrol.

Eventhough gas prices are higher than they were last year, experts say prices will start to drop once workers return to the Gulf Coast oil rigs that were shut down ahead of Hurricane Isaac.

They also say the end of the summer blend of gasoline could bring prices down 20 cents a gallon over the next month or so.

Right now the national average for a gallon of unleaded is $3.80. That's 13 cents higher than at this time last year.
