Re/Max fundraiser benefits community
TOLEDO, Ohio (WNWO) - For 16 years, Re/Max Preferred Associates has been raising money for the Children's Miracle Network and Komen for the Cure Foundation.
Thursday night, the group held its annual fundraiser. The event raises money through attendance and auction prizes. Ranging from small gifts, to things like a one-year lease on a Mercedes.
"Last year we raised $45,000,” said John Mangas, with Re/Max Preferred Associates. “Cumulatively, over the 16 years we've been doing this, we anticipate breaking the $400,000 mark."
In addition to the auction, the event had food, drinks, and live music. All of the money raised will stay in our local communities.
