City officials weren't the only ones on standby for the big smoke-stack implosion Wednesday.
Dozens of residents were treated to quite the show as well. And as the smoke-stacks came down the scores of residents watching were left with their jaws on the floors.
Leading up to the grand implosion the confines of Edison Park were practically transformed into a drive in theater, with dozens of Toledoans, old and young, all searching for that perfect view. Some watched from inside their car, others watched from up top. But no one left disappointed.
