Judy Kuhlman's house was spared.
"I have lived here all my life, we have had wind but not a tornado," Ms. Kuhlman said.
There were no deaths or injuries reported, but 42 of the 67 homes in the village were damaged. Five of those homes were destroyed.
The Putnam County chapter of the American Red Cross has set up a shelter for displaced village residents at the Oak Haven residential facility.
Director Michelle Williams says her team arrived in Cloverdale on Sunday night.
"Our main focus is to make sure that everybody here who has a need gets the assistance, whether it is shelter or food or counseling," Williams said.
