Return of the Wild West: Thieves target moving train

A recent crime in Brazil reminds many of the old American Wild West, as depicted here in this 1908 Wild West Weekly magazine.

In a scene seemingly out of the old American Wild West, thieves in Brazil targeted a moving train and safely made away with the goods.

Their bounty: 55 U.S. tons of corn.

As police tell it, the thieves made the 54-wagon locomotive skid and slow down by greasing the train tracks. That's when they used a tow truck with a hook to remove the corn-filled containers, the report said.
