REWARD: Adrian armed robber demands pills not cash

Officials describe the suspect as having rough skin and an unusually small nose.

Crime Stopper of Lenawee County hope are offering a cash reward to help generate new leads in an armed robbery with a unique looking suspect.

The heist took place March 28, around 9:15 a.m., at the Walgreens Pharmacy on S. Main Street in Adrian.

A surveillance image shows the lone suspect walking directly to the pharmacy counter. He then claimed to have a gun and demanded specific drugs be turned over.

Investigators haven't specified which medications the suspect wanted. They have released a detailed description of the man in the surveillance photo.

The suspect is said to have "rough skin on his face and an unusually mall nose", according to a Lenawee County Crime Stopper press release.

Authorities also believe the robber is between 40 and 50 years old, about 5 feet 9 tall and weighs around 160 pounds.

At the time of the robbery, the suspect was wearing a green hooded coat, orange baseball-type hat, blue pants, and dark sunglasses.

Tipsters can share information by calling either (517) 266-6161 or (877) 276-8477, by texting, sending a Facebook message or submitting the information online.

Texts should be sent to 274637 and should start with the word "LENAWEE".

All tips can be made anonymously and still qualify for the cash reward using a random number assigned to the case.
