A Rossford man is behind bars after police say he broke into his grandmother's home and robbed her of over $100,000 in property.

William "Billy" Wesley, of Schreier Road, has been arrested and charged with felony second-degree burglary.

Rossford Police said they were called to a home on Marilyn Drive late Friday night on a report of a burglary. When they arrived they found over $100,000 in property stolen from the residence.

Officers determined Wesley, the homeowner's grandson, had entered the home by breaking a window. He then moved the stolen property to his home and a nearby vacant house.

Wesley is being held in the Wood County Jail.

The stolen property has been returned to its owner.
