The Salvation Army of Northwest Ohio is giving back to the community by holding its annual Christmas Toy Distribution.
On Wednesday, between the hours of 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. the organization will be handing out toys to needy families from the Toledo area.
To qualify, families had to apply and be approved in October and November. The Salvation Army is also giving the families a free holiday food basket.
The toys will be distributed at the U-A-W Local 12 Hall, located at 2300 Ashland Ave.
The Salvation Army was founded back in 1865 and established locally in 1887.
