The Sandusky Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a two vehicle fatal crash that killed a Sandusky woman on Friday afternoon.
It happened around 3:30 p.m., in Erie County, at the intersection of Bogart Road and Campbell Street.
Authorities say that 75-year old Irene Mann was hit when 73-year-old Juanita Crawford, of Sandusky, failed to yield at a stop sign and pulled into the path of Mann's vehicle.
Both Crawford and Mann were wearing their seatbelts but Crawford died at the scene.
Mann sustained "incapacitating injuries" and was taken to Firelands Regional Medical Center for treatment.
Alcohol is not believed to be a factor in the crash.
The intersection was closed for approximately 2 hours while crews cleared the accident scene.
