Tue, 04 Feb 2014 15:33:27 GMT — Toledo Police are warning residents of a scam that requests them to pay their overdue Toledo Edison bills.Official say victims have been asked to load money onto a Green Dot credit card in the amount owed as confirmation they paid their late payments.Scammers, pretending to work for Toledo Edison, would then tell victims to call a number and provide them with the credit card number.Law enforcement urges any person who receives this call should hang up and contact Toledo Edison at 1-800-447-3333.
