Search for Maumee credit union robber continues

<span id="bIImageViewer_CaptionTextID">Toledo police are investigating after a credit union was robbed Monday morning.</span>


he search continues for a suspect who robbed a Maumee credit union Monday morning.

Authorities say a lone black male entered the Toledo Co-Op Credit Union, 2422 South Holland Sylvania Road, around 9:15 a.m. and jumped over the counter as he demanded money from tellers.

The suspect was wearing a yellow surgical mask and was armed with a small silver handgun during the robbery.

He was able to flee the scene on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect is described as a black male in his early 20's, 5'8" tall, and weighing between 120-140 lbs. He was last seen wearing a zip-front gray-hooded sweatshirt, gray pants, white baseball cap, gray gloves, and dark-colored tennis shoes.
