Seneca Co. authorities find drugs & weapons in search, Suspect missing

The items authorities say they seized from a Fostoria home on Monday.

A number of law enforcement groups in Seneca County worked together to execute a search Warrant at 560 Lynn Street in Fostoria on Monday.

Officials say they found a substantial amount of cocaine, two semi-automatic pistols, drug paraphernalia & criminal tools in the home.

Now a number of charges are pending against the resident, of the home, 34-year-old James L. Foster.

Authorities say they did not find Foster during the search of his home.

â??We encourage citizens to continue to report suspicious activity and likewise we will continue to work jointly with surrounding agencies and the public to aggressively attack those involved in drug activity and criminal behaviorâ??, Fostoria Police Chief John McGuire said.

The Seneca County Drug Task Force-METRICH Enforcement Unit, along with officers from the Fostoria Police Department, Wood County Sheriffâ??s Office & the Seneca County Search Warrant Team were all involved in executing the warrant.
