      Seneca County storm emergency lifted after tornado touch down

      Uprooted trees in Kansas, Ohio after Monday's tornado.

      Seneca County Sheriff's Office canceled its Level 3 storm emergency roadway Thursday morning.

      Chief Deputy removed storm emergencies around 6:30 a.m. A Level 2 road emergency was issue Wednesday evening that urged motorists to stay off the roads as much as possible.

      Witnesses reported Monday evening a funnel cloud to officials, who later discovered structural damage to a building southeast of Kansas, Ohio. National Weather service confirmed an EF-0 tornado touch downed Monday on West Township Road 36 and continued to travel 100 yards into a corn field. The tornado uprooted trees at about 75 mph, but caused minimal damage and no reported injuries.
