      Sibling stabbing hospitalizes central Toledo brother

      Jones-Hawkins faces charges of felonious assault and is being held on a $100,000 bond with no 10 percent. Her next court date is scheduled for Sept. 26.

      A family argument leaves one man hospitalized early Thursday morning after getting stabbed.Toledo Police received a stabbing report just after 1 a.m. at 1725 Belmont Ave near Detroit and Nebraska.Detectives said a fight got out of hand, when Vanita Jones-Hawkins, 43, allegedly stabbed her brother twice in his left arm and shoulder. The brother, was rushed to a local hospital with serious injuries. The sister has been arrested.Jones-Hawkins appeared in Toledo Municipal Court around 9:30 a.m. She faces charges of felonious assault and is being held on a $100,000 bond with no 10 percent. Her next court date is scheduled for Sept. 26.
