Toledo firefights have been battling a blaze shortly after 6 a.m. at 4425 Creekside Ave.
Fri, 02 May 2014 14:28:04 GMT — TOLEDO - Firefighters have been working to contain a blaze at Stickney Recycling Friday morning.Officials said they have been on scene after they received reports of a fire shortly after 6 a.m. at 4425 Creekside Ave.The plant accepts construction and demolition debris including asbestos, tires and yard waste, according to the Stickney Recycling's website.Toledo-Lucas County Health Department said the clouds of smoke coming from the fire pose no immediate public health concern.The health department issued a statement this morning that it will continue to monitor the air quality. It will give further updates as needed.
