Labor Day??s storms did not put a damper on the 200th Anniversary of the Battle of Lake Erie.

WNWO captured the fleet of tall ships re-enacting the battle. The victory over the British fleet is considered by many to be the turning point in the War of 1812.

??There??s no question that war is hell?| It gives us all something to be proud of,?? said Bert Rogers a member of Tall Ships America.

Many of the ships have been on display for tours and rides during the weekend as Ohio celebrates the bicentennial of commodore Oliver Hazard Perry??s capture of a British fleet near Put-in-Bay.
