Spotty showers will accompany warmer weather

A warm front will push into the area Tuesday. Ahead of the front, more clouds and some shower chances will enter the forecast.
The clouds begin to arrive this evening...and there will be a chance for a passing shower by late evening and overnight.
We should wrap up the first push of showers by sunrise on our Tuesday.
The warmer and more humid air on Tuesday will set us up for some spotty shower or storms in the late afternoon and early evening.
Into Wednesday a cold front approaches from the west. Temps will continue to climb Wednesday as we get right up to 80 degrees in many locations.
By mid to late Wednesday afternoon storm chances go up again. They should wrap up into Wednesday evening.
With the cold front clearing the area late Wednesday...some cooler, less humid air will move in for Thursday where highs will only get back up to about 70 degrees.
High pressure becomes dominant behind the front...and that means some beautiful weather arriving just in time for the big Memorial Day Weekend.
Friday's highs will be in the lower 70s. Saturday mid 70s. Sunday...we continue the climb into the upper 70s.
Memorial Day itself will be still warm...but we run a better chance for some, at least, scattered storms in the afternoon or evening.
As we move through the week we should be able to nail down the timing on the Monday storms better...so keep checking back for updates.
