Classmates of a St. Francis de Sales High School student hurt in north Toledo violence over the weekend are rolling up their sleeves to help save lives.
A blood drive is being held Monday in support of Keontae Johnson. The Knights football standout was among four teens sent to the hospital after a shooting near 14 E. Streicher late Friday night.
Johnson's classmates organized the blood drive to show their support for their fellow student.
The blood drive is being held at the Red Cross Blood Donation Center on Executive Parkway from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. Monday.
