Sunshine is going to stay with us throughout the day and we've got more on the way for the first half of your weekend. A short-lived warm-up is in store too!
We'll be sunny this morning and mostly sunny this afternoon as high pressure builds into the Great Lakes. With light breezes coming out of the northeast and off a frozen Lake Erie we will remain below normal temperaturewise - with highs in the lower 40's.
Skies remain mainly clear overnight and we will see plenty of sunshine again on Saturday. Sunshine will dominate Saturday morning with partly cloudy skies during the afternoon. It'll be much warmer with highs near 50 degrees.
Skies cloud up Saturday night and will continue to stream into the region on Sunday - eventually delivering soaking rains by late in the day. We finally break the 50 degree barrier Sunday afternoon with the mercury pushing the mid 50's.
Have a great weekend and enjoy the nice weather - we certainlly deserve it!
