This will be the coldest day we've seen since last winter. It may look nice out there through the picture window with sunshine sparkling off the snowpack but highs will max out in the mid 20's and windchills will not get out of the teens most of this afternoon. Skies will be partly cloudy this afternoon after mostly sunny skies this morning.
Overnight skies will be mainly clear with lows falling into the lower teens. Tomorrow will not feel much better. While highs get into the upper 20's, the winds will begin to crank-up. After a sunny start Thursday morning we will see clouds stream in during the afternoon and winds will gust up to 25 MPH - delivering feels-like temps in the teens once again. The clouds develop Thursday afternoon due to a moisture starved cold front moving through the region... that front will likely deliver some scattered flurries late in the day.
The arctic airmass will begin to moderate over the weekend with highs finally climbing into the low and mid 30's.
