We're kicking off the work week with high pressure in control, delivering plenty of sunshine and seasonable highs in the upper 70's. Don't forget your shades and sunscreen if you're spending much time out in it!
We'll be partly cloudy and mild overnight with lows in the upper 50's. After a mostly sunny start Tuesday morning we'll see clouds stream in during the afternoon with highs near 80 degrees. Those clouds will deliver scattered showers begining Tuesday night. It's likely you will need to deploy your umbrella for good portions of the rest of the work week as we expect widespread showers and isolated thunderstorms, with some locally heavy rain, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. High will be in the mid and upper 70's for the second half of the work week.
We've got a big weekend coming up with Father's Day. Right now it looks like those picnics should be a GO as the upcoming weekend looks to offer tons of sunshine with highs in the upper 70's and lower 80's. The weekend is still a long way off so stay tuned as we will continue to refine that forecast.
Enjoy all of the sunshine today as you'll likely feel a little blue before the week is out with days of rain ahead.
