Suspect arrested in Fremont triple murder

Authorities arrested 33-year-old Igmidio Mista around 9:30 a.m. Monday

Fremont Police have taken into custody the suspect accused of shooting and killing three men inside a Fremont bar.

Authorities arrested 33-year-old Igmidio Mista around 9:30 a.m. Monday after a receiving a tip that led them to a house at 611 South Park Ave. According to the news release, one of his family relatives answered the door, where Mista later met officials at the door.

Fremont Police Chief Timothy K. Wiersma said he did not resist arrest. No questions were asked as he requested a lawyer upon arrival at the police department.

U.S. Immigration and Customs officers made contact with the department and will be contacting the Philippine's consulate to confirm his visa status.

Mista faces three counts of murder in the fatal shootings at Last Call Saloon at 531 W. State St.

Officials pronounced three men dead on scene: 28-year-old Ramiro Sanchez, employed as the bouncer; 26-year-old Jose "Andy" Chavez, an off-duty Elmore Police Officer; and 25-year-old Daniel Ramirez, a patron of the bar.

25-year-old Ramiro Arreola, a patron of the bar, was Life Flighted to a Toledo area hospital. His current condition is unknown. An warrant was issued Sunday night for Mista's arrest.

A news conference is scheduled for 2 p.m. at the Fremont Police Department.
