Suspect in Santa hat flees after robbing Dundee bank

Authorities are searching for a man they say donned a Santa hat and robbed a Dundee bank Monday afternoon.
According to Dundee Police, the male suspect was soft-spoken when he demanded money from a teller at the Bank of America, 232 Tecumseh St., around 2:15 p.m. The white male, with a thin build, wore a Santa hat, blue jeans, sunglasses, dark blue jacket, dark colored sweather, white turtleneck, and dark leather shoes during the robbery.
The victim bank teller told police the suspect showed a handgun in his waist before laying a dark multi-colored bag on the counter and demanding it be filled with cash.
The suspect is said to be 5'10" to 6' tall with very sparse facial hair around his mouth and upper lip.
He fled the bank on foot in an unknown direction.
