Suspects on the loose for armed robbery in Monroe pizza shop

The Monroe County Sheriff's Office is looking for two men who broke into Vito's Pizza Shop on 7321 Lewis Ave. Monday night.

Officials said the suspects entered the store through a back door to the kitchen after the last round of deliveries. One of the suspects with a kitchen-style knife threatened the lone worker closing the shop.

The other suspect held a large, jagged rock according to police. Both suspects wore dark clothing and black cloths to mask their faces. Authorities said the suspects forced the clerk to remove the money from the register and then fled on foot through the back door of the store.
