After a three hour standoff, Toledo SWAT made entry into a North Toledo apartment complex and arrested Detroit fugitive Chris Doyle.

Toledo Police spokesman Sgt. Joe Heffernan said Doyle was wanted on an armed carjacking charge when U.S. Marshals came to arrest him at 12:30 p.m.

The suspect attempted to hide from authorities in an apartment complex located at 3754 Manhattan Boulevard. Toledo SWAT evacuated the building and fired tear gas to detain the suspect.

Doyle was arrested without further incident around 3:20 p.m. He will be incarcerated at the Lucas County jail.
