Sylvania man may serve time on drug charges

A S ylvania man who who killed a man trying to break into his home last summer admitted in court that he was grew mariju a na in his home .

C lay Hausenfleck pleaded guilty to two drug charges related to the marijuana operation he had in the basement of his Sylvania home. He faces up to 10 years in prison. He will be sentenced next month though prosecutors are recommending community control.

I n the early morning hours of August 28, Hausenfleck shot and killed Louis Mason. Hausenfleck told police Mason and another man, were trying to break into his house, allegedly trying to steal the drugs. A grand jury did not indict Hausenfleck in connection with the killing. He will be sentenced for the marijuana charges on Febuary 22.
