Sylvania Schools wants levy on November ballot

Leaders at Sylvania Schools are asking voters to pass a levy when they go to the polls this fall.

The Sylvania School Board voted unanimously Thursday night on a 4.9 mill operating levy that will go before voters in November.

The Lucas County Auditor will now have to determine how much money the levy would produce if passed.

The school board will meet for a final vote on the issue on July 12.
