Sylvania Twp. intersection opened up after car hits utility pole

Wed, 23 Oct 2013 12:08:57 GMT — An intersection in Sylvania has been opened up after it was closed down due to a car crash hitting a utility pole.Sylvania Police said the crash happened around 7 a.m. at the intersection of Whiteford and Monroe Street.WNWO spoke to crews on scene who said nearby residents and businesses were without power for about a half hour.Roads have been cleared and traffic lights are working.Crews are on scene, working to bring back power to the Shell gas station located at the intersection.Officials said the driver had minor injuries.
