A Findlay teen told police he fell asleep at the wheel before crashing into a senior on County Road 300 early Friday.
According to the State Highway Patrol, the 17-year-old male driver was headed northbound around 12:30 a.m. when he drove left of center, striking a car head on just south of County Road 95.
The teen was taken to Blanchard Valley Hospital for minor injuries to his knee and hand. The driver in the other vehicle, 70-year-old Gloria Housh, was taken to the same hospital by her husband for precautionary measures.
Both vehicles were heavily damaged, according to the report.
The teen was cited for driving left of center. He told troopers he fell asleep before the crash.
Alcohol was not a factor in the crash, troopers determined.
