A Toledo teen died in crash after the vehicle hit a large tree and utility pole in west Toledo Sunday evening.
Toledo Police said 18-year-old Theresa Brazzel was speeding in the northbound lanes of Richards Road before it went off the right side of the road shortly before 6 p.m.
The car clipped a large tree in front of 440 Richards, where it flipped over and crashed into a utility pole.
Toledo Police said Brazzel had not been wearing a seatbelt and was thrown from the vehicle.
Emergency vehicles rushed her to The University of Toledo Medical Center, where she later died hours later from injuries sustained in the crash.
