More than 400 new jobs are coming to Findlay.
fficials with Texas-based grocery retail supplier, McLane, announced they're building a grocery distribution center in Findlay. They say jobs will pay around $57,000 a year with benefits.
t's a huge advantage to us we think in the state of Ohio, because it's an ultra competitive market, and we like to say that Findlay is a great place to do business," explained Findlay Mayor Lydia Mihalik.
ihalik credits the economic win for her city to an increase in the community reinvestment area.
t's designed to encourage economic development in areas that haven't seen re-investment, rebuilding or construction.
ane will get a tax break estimated to be around $2 to $3 million.
ccording to Findlay's mayor, the Texas company will re-invest a half million dollars for infrastructure and $100,000 for workforce development.
