Toledo bicyclist punched, robbed by teen

A 66-year-old bicyclist remains in critical condition Tuesday after being knocked down while riding his bike in Central Toledo Monday evening.

Robert S. Brundage was riding his bike on Collingwood near Victoria Place around 6:30 p.m. Monday when he was approached by Dailahntae Jemison, 15. According to police, the teen punched Brundage and knocked him off his bike before fleeing the scene.

Jemison was later found by police on Tremain Dr. near Ashland Ave. Police say he confessed to crime and was charged with aggravated robbery. He is being held in the Juvenile Justice Center.

Brundage was taken to St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center where he remains in critical condition.

A vigil will be held for Brundage Wednesday evening at 6:00 p.m. at the Collingwood Arts Center.
