Toledo casino cheat avoids jail

A Detroit man is not going to be spending anytime behind bars for cheating at Toledo's new casino.

35-year-old Toyree Hawthorne was sentenced Wednesday to three years of community control, banned from the casino and ordered to pay $430 in restitution.

If he doesn't comply, he could get sent to prison for a year.

Hawthorne was caught cheating while playing craps at Hollywood Casino Toledo on June 24.
