Toledo elementary school teacher facing federal child pornography charges
A Toledo Public Schools teacher has been placed on administrative leave after being indicted Thursday on federal child pornography charges.
Bruce Omlor, 49, a teacher at Riverside Elementary, was charged in a three-count indictment with crimes related to child pornography, according to United States Attorney for the Northern District, Steven M. Dettelbach. He faces on count each of receipt, distribution, and possession of child pornography.
The indictment accuses Omlor of having the conduct between June 2009 and April 2012.
Omlor has been placed on administrative leave from the school.
Federal authorities are asking for anyone with relevant information regarding Omlor's conduct to call 866-347-2423 (Homeland Security Investigations) or complete an online tip form.
