Wed, 11 Sep 2013 16:07:11 GMT — Toledo Fire and Rescue Departments commemorated the 12th anniversary of 9/11 with a "9/11 Memorial Stair Climb."The fire recruit class of 2013 along with the Training Academy staff climbed five flights of stairs 27 times. Fire officials hope that with each step of the climb, the recruits remembered the 110 stories of the World Trade Center their brothers in New York climbed that fateful day."For those of us in the fire service, this is something we cannot let die. We cannot forget those firefighters who gave their lives," said Lieutenant Matthew Hertzfeld.
