Average gasoline prices have fallen about 11 cents per gallon in the past week, averaging $3.33 per gallon July 28.
GasBuddy.com surveyed 315 gas outlets in Toledo and found that prices on July 28 were 9 cents per gallon lower than the same day one year ago.
The national average decreased about 3 cents per gallon in the last week to $3.65 per gallon.
Patrick DeHaan, Senior Petroleum Analyst for GasBuddy.com, says, â??Oil prices appear to be taking a breather, but with the peak of hurricane season approaching, an continued upward trajectory in gasoline prices is certainly possible, should we see a major storm take aim for the Gulf.â??
