Toledo man gets shot in the genitals

A Tuesday shooting

A drive-by shooting left one man suffering from wounds to his private parts Tuesday night.

According to Toledo Police, the incident occurred around 10:45 p.m. in the 1700-block of Walnut.

Two men, Bernard Kelly and James Barker, were walking on Walnut when a small, black car pulled up beside them and began shooting at them.

Kelly suffered a gunshot wound to his penis. He was admitted to a nearby hospital with non life threatening injuries.

Barker was not struck, but a bullet did go through his pants leg.

The shooting is under investigation by Toledo Police.
