A man wanted in Texas for the murder of a San Antonio-area police officer was captured in Toledo late Thursday night.
33-year-old Jerry Idrogo was arrested by Toledo Police with what the San Antonio Police Department is calling "teamwork among agencies."
Idrogo faces a murder charge for allegedly shooting Balcones Heights police officer Julian Pesina outside a tattoo parlor on May 4.
SAPD and the FBI coordinated with the Toledo Ohio Police Department to make the arrest sometime around midnight after receiving information from the Bexar County Sherriff's Office and Fugitive Task Force on the suspect's location.
Idrogo is awaiting extradition back to Bexar County from Toledo.
