Two people were shot, one in Perrysburg Township and the other in Toledo, on Wednesday night.
The cases have not been connected.
Toledo Police said a man was sent to the Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center for a gunshot wound to his lower leg. 47-year-old Darrell Howard was shot at 1014 Colburn, in Toledo, around 8 p.m. and suffered significant blood loss.
Investigators believe the shooting may have been part of a robbery. Two black males were seen leaving the scene in a light-colored early 2000's model Monte Carlo.
According to The Blade, the person injured in the Wood County shooting was found in the Perrysburg Heights section of Perrysburg Township. Authorities reported a Dodge Durango had been seen in the area around the time of the shooting.
A Perrysburg Township 911 dispatcher would not disclose the exact address of the shooting to WNWO by 9:30 p.m. Officials said a news release would be sent some time Thursday morning.
