Toledo Police investigate first homicide of 2018
TOLEDO, Ohio (WNWO) —
Just two days into 2018, Toledo Police are investigating the year’s first homicide.
Police now suspect foul play in the death of Quincy Holmes, 24.
It happened around 4:45 on Monday morning.
Holmes was driving a vehicle that crashed into an apartment building in the 3900 block of Airport Highway.
He was found dead, and Toledo Police originally treated the incident as an accident.
Police later discovered a bullet hole in the door, and the coroner confirmed Holmes had died from a gunshot wound.
The investigation is continuing.
