Toledo Police K9 sniffs out over 100 lbs of pot

One of Toledo's finest four-legged officers is being credited with helping take over 100 lbs. of marijuana off the city's streets.
According to Toledo Police, detectives from Vice Narcotics were assisted by K9 "Luke" on a Knock and Talk with a resident at 1357 Oak Street Wednesday morning.
Authorities had detected an odor of marijuana at the residence. Officers entered a detached garage and found a large amount of marijuana which appeared to have been recently harvested. Several lights were also found to be a part of a grow operation.
The 111 lbs of pot found in the garage has a street value of $177,600.
Police have charged William Fyffe and Wendy Fyffe, both residents of the home, with cultivation of marijuana and trafficking marijuana.
An investigation continues.
