Toledo Police will join the 'Click it or Ticket' campaign beginning Monday in an effort to curb traffic violations and drunken driving.
As part of the blitz, officers will make an extra effort to catch speeders and drivers operating a vehicle under the influence.
Police say they'll work on random dates beginning Monday, May 19 through June 1. Officers will be assigned to areas with a higher number of traffic complaints and reported accidents.
The blitz coincides with the national 'Click it or Ticket' campaign and is being made possible by funding from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
