The Toledo Federation of Teachers voted on a new contract Saturday.
The vote comes after the school board took their turn voting on the contract Saturday morning.
A fact finder report was presented which lays out the financial standing of the district. Under the terms of the report, teachers would received a one percent raise beginning January 2014 and again on January 2015.
Kevin Dalton, president of the Toledo Federation of Teachers says it represents the reality of where the district is right now. "It's certainly not a restoration of what they've given in the past. By no means do I think it's a great agreement. I think it's a realistic agreement given the economic times of Toledo and Toledo Public Schools."
Dalton says if members reject the contract, further talks will be held to work out a deal.
