      Toledo solar company to sell products in Middle East

      The first batch of inverters will be shipped to Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain and Oman in three to four months.

      Toledo-based Nextronex Energy Systems has entered into a distributor partnership with a real estate, development and brand management company based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.The company, Al Madani Group, will receive inverter systems from Nextronex, according Netronex CEO Jay R. Troger."They are going to buy inverter systems from us here in Toledo and they will be manufactured right here in Toledo and then be shipped to the Middle East," Mr. Troger said.

      Nextronex makes inverters, which are attached to solar panels. The inverters convert the energy collected by the solar panels into usable electricity."We're hoping to do a couple of million dollars this first year and the sky is the limit after that," Mr. Troger said.The first batch of inverters will be shipped to Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain and Oman in three to four months.
