Toledo Police have released security camera footage of a South Toledo convenience store shoot-out that took the life of a would-be robber in March.

Alfred Evans, 52, was fatally shot after trying to rob Bengal's Food Mart, 2625 Airport Highway, on Sunday, Mar. 14. The man, disguised with a wig, walked into the store, announced the robbery and produced a handgun, according to Toledo Police Sgt. Tim Noble. A store owner is seen in the footage retrieving his gun and exchanging fire with Evans, hitting and killing him.

Three other customers were also inside the location; however, there were no other injuries.
