Toledo Teachers Union leader announces retirement

It's an end of an era in Toledo Public Schools. After 15 years at the helm of the Toledo Federation of Teachers, Francine Lawrence is retiring at the end of this school year.

Lawrence and her husband have been heads of the teacher's union for the past four decades. But the 64-year-old says it's time to leave the post so she can spend more time with her husband and cash in her pension before rules change this summer.

It's not clear who may replace her.
