Toledo water quality dashboard now at “watch” status
TOLEDO, Ohio (WNWO) —
Officials from the city of Toledo have now updated the water quality dashboard to “watch” status, but stress the water is safe to drink.
They say that untreated water in the intake crib in Lake Erie shows 6.61 parts per billion of microcystin.
The Water Quality Dashboard moves to “watch” status when microcystin is detected at or above 5 ppb.
No microcystin has been detected in Toledo’s water.
Toledo’s water quality dashboard is available online here.
