Toledo woman killed after driving car into oncoming traffic

Car headed eastbound on West Alexis crossed incoming traffic.

A 52-year-old woman died from injuries sustained in a car crash Tuesday afternoon on West Alexis Road.

Toledo Police said Paula Hornsby, 52, of Toledo, was driving eastbound on West Alexis when she crossed into incoming traffic, hitting another car traveling in the other direction.

Paulette Folger, 35, of Toledo, and two children, were inside the other car.

Officials sent all people involved in the accident to the Toledo Hospital, where Hornsby died from injuries sustained from the car crash.

Officials have not confirmed the conditions of the passengers in the other car.
