Toledo's Farmer Market sells fresh produce twice monthly

Toledo's Market is open until 1 p.m. selling fresh produce.

Toledo Farms' Market opens Wednesday, selling its fresh fruits and vegetables.

The market opens 10:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. at the Lucas County Job and Family Services on Monroe Street.

Shoppers can use cash, credit, or SNAP dollars. Shoppers who use SNAP can use the Double Up Food Bucks Program that matches a dollar up to $20 for local produce. The program allows low income citizens to purchase fresh fruits and vegetables.

The market will open every month during the second and fourth Wednesday until September.
