The tornadoes that tore through Wood County June 5 have claimed the life of a sixth victim.

A spokesman with Mercy St. Vincent's Medical Center has confirmed that Ryan Walters died around 6:00 p.m. Sunday, June 13, one week after a tornado destroyed his Millbury home. Walters sustained severe injuries during the storm. He and his wife and two children were asleep in an upstairs bedroom when the tornado hit. He had been in critical condition all week long.

Walter's wife, Mary, and their four-year-old son, Hayden, were killed in the tornado and were laid to rest on Saturday. The couple's seven-year-old daughter, Madison, now becomes the only family member to have survived the tornado. She was treated and released from Mercy St. Vincent with minor injuries.
